She’s determined to save him from a cruel fate, and he becomes her new secret. But she never could have imagined that he’d be a prince— or that he would proclaim her to be his bride! As Sylvia takes on this unexpected adventure, she faces a difficult question: will love be a freedom or a brand-new prison?

Main Characters

Sylvia vowed that romance was not for her. The unfortunate events in her life made it clear to her that love was nothing more than an illusion, and that marriage was nothing but a prison. Knowing this, she’s kept her head down and accepted her life as a lonely servant. However, when she meets Keil, everything changes. He seems so different than everyone else she’s known, and makes her question everything she’s believed to be true. Could this mysterious man finally give her the happily-ever-after she’s always secretly dreamed of?

Keil is known as the bastard prince of the Red Clan and the black sheep of the family. Despite this, his father–the King–has always made sure that he’s had a safe and welcoming home within the castle walls. Growing up with the support of his father and brother, Prince Kaal, Keil became the type of person who always thinks of others before himself, and would do anything for the people he cares about—including his new love, Sylvia.

Finna was never the biggest or most fearsome dragon, but she was a perfect match for Keil! Playful, affectionate, and loyal to a fault, Finna bonded with Keil when they were both young and the two have been inseparable ever since.
